Sofitel Rio De Janeiro Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. However, the maintenance issues in our rooms were quite disappointing, especially given the amount we paid for the stay. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it definitely needs some improvements.

Staying at Sofitel Ipanema was a memorable experience, enveloped by the charm of older times with a modern touch. The rooms were generally clean and staff members were attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I had a slight hiccup with the dining experience on my last day, but overall, the offerings met my expectations. The location is unbeatable, being directly across from the beach with fantastic views from the rooftop pool. I felt the value was justified given the quality of the amenities, even with minor room complaints.

I had high hopes for my stay at this hotel, mainly because of its fantastic location right across from Ipanema Beach and the abundance of nearby shops and restaurants.
